Now that lockdowns seem finally behind us, it has been interesting seeing if the Parklands visitor numbers remain higher than 18 months ago. Though the numbers have dropped significantly from lockdowns generally there has been an overall increase in regular park users especially around the picnic area & ponds, dog off lead zone and off course the shared trail. Most new people we chat to here tell us that they discovered the parklands as a result of being in the lockdowns, and most interestingly they live locally (within 1 Km) of the parklands.
