The Friends of Darebin Parklands is governed by a Committee, which sets the organisation’s direction and manages resources and activities on behalf of its members.

The Committee meets four to five times a year and is responsible for maintaining our legal requirements as an incorporated association, memberships, financial management, and advocacy for the Parklands. We focus on organising events which promote the understanding and appreciation of the Parklands and Darebin Creek.

Our newsletter, Darebin Parklands News, is published four times a year and we also share news and event information via our email list.

The Committee also works with the Friends of Darebin Creek and the Darebin Creek Management Committee to support their volunteer programs to enhance the Parklands and Creek catchment.
