The FDP works closely with the Darebin Creek Management Committee (DCMC).  We are one of seven members of the DCMC, an organisation that is funded by the local government organisations that adjoin the Darebin Creek and share a common interest in its health and good management – Banyule, Darebin, Whittlesea and Yarra councils.  La Trobe University and  Friends of Darebin Creek are also members.

FDP and DCMC work in partnership to care for the Darebin Parklands, with two DCMC Rangers dedicated to the Parklands. The DCMC has day-to-day responsibility for managing and maintaining the park, guided by the Darebin Parklands Management Plan.
