Thursday November 21 was the beginning of Treaty negotiations between the First Peoples’ Assembly and the State Government, celebrated in the Parklands.
Everyone said they were happy with how the day went and we are very proud that the Parklands was the chosen destination for the ceremony, with some of the Elders who had never heard of this place saying that the parklands has heart and now means something special to them.
