The Friends of Darebin Creek, in partnership with the Friends of Darebin Parklands, invite you to join us on a bus trip to trace the Darebin Creek to its source.
We will visit the source of Darebin Creek, see significant variations along its course, and look at environmental projects in the Whittlesea & Wollert areas of the creek. We will visit a number of sites along the creek – from Kingsbury to Beveridge – while hearing from subject experts Dr Graeme Hamilton, Secretary FoDC and Tim Connell, Environment Team Leader Whittlesea Council.
You will get to see magnificent old river red gums, interesting stony rises, and current revegetation projects, and generally better understand the larger context of Darebin Creek.
